Supertech Steel Retainers for all Honda/Acura B-series VTEC/D/H/K-series engines.

Supertech steel retainers will work with all Supertech valve springs (excl. B-series NON-VTEC heads), OEM Valve Springs, and possibly other manufacturer aftermarket valve springs.

These steel retainers utilize OEM 7-degree keepers and are also compatible with Supertech keepers.

Engine applications

  • D-series VTEC & NON-VTEC
  • B-series VTEC (all)
    Not compatible with B-series NON-VTEC engines
  • F-series - F20B (DOHC), F20C/F22C
  • H-series VTEC - H22A/H23A
  • *K-series (w/pre-existing dual valve springs in place)

*K-series note:
These retainers are only compatible with K-series engines that are equipped with factory dual valve springs (02-mid 03 RSX Type-S and JDM K20A Type-R engines). Any K-series motor with factory single valve springs are incompatible with these retainers. You must convert to dual valve spring components before using these retainers, specifically dual valve spring seats, springs, and keepers.
